Impact Hill, a non-profit organization, hit off its annual Golf Fundraising event in 2021 with a mission that means much more than staying out of the bunkers! And we were here to enjoy the round with our party planning services!
With only a few months of planning, this non-profit in Oakland, Iowa, needed to raise funds to further its pursuit: to create a safe, positive, and welcoming environment for all through the restoration and development of the historic Riverside High School building.
Tera Schechinger needed an event planner in Iowa who had experience planning and executing the entire event to achieve the undertaking. She knew she needed someone organized, creative, and ready to get things done in a short amount of time. And fortunately for us, The Party Bar was just the ticket! But, after our initial consultation, all I could think about was the longevity of the problem! They had a tight budget but needed the help.
How would Impact Hill continue this yearly event if they spent so much of their current budget on someone to plan and execute it?
I knew it was time to problem-solve. At The Party Bar, we want to work with our clients, big and small. We want them to feel valued, secure, and almost at “home” when speaking to our staff. So, we put together an alternate solution for our friends at Impact Hill. In our party planning services, we created an event plan that they could utilize year after year. The project would call for five volunteer coordinators to run their event.
