MCWS Opening Night
When the College World Series Omaha team told us their private Opening Night had never really featured event decor before, we saw an opportunity to help create an experience worthy of the eight teams who earned their spot in Omaha. Over five weeks, we designed, fabricated, and installed custom elements built specifically for the event, including cutting more than seven dozen baseballs in half, sanding and finishing 32 baseball bats, installing over 200 square feet of boxwood, and creating multiple design variations based on which teams advanced through the Super Regionals. The final installation included two custom backdrops, two 8-foot-tall entrance statement pieces, and more than 150 feet of red carpet welcoming teams. From concept to installation, this project celebrated the Road to Omaha and showcased how custom fabrication and event design can help turn a great event into a memorable experience.
